Round 10

Tim came home Tuesday evening from round 10! But not before stopping off at Wal-Mart to get some school supplies for 7th grade! He is so excited to go to Middle School:) Round 10 went by quick and Tim rocked it. He threw up only 4 times and ate a ton in between chemo doses! He is up to 79 lbs now. When we started all this, he weighed 88 lbs. At one point, he was only 75 lbs. So, the appetite stimulates must be working! Since Tim was in the hospital over the weekend, I took the 3 girls up to visit Tim on Sunday. We took Tim for a walk and went out on the patio. It was a little too hot out there for Tim, so we quickly went back inside:)

(Mak, Kelli, Tim and Katie on the hospital patio.)

When we got back inside, we went into the hospital playroom. While Tim and Cory played a football game on the Wii, the girls painted and played with surgical dolls. They had the best time putting on caps and masks, putting bandaids on the dolls and other "hospital" things. Later that night at home, Mak decided to be a doctor and performed a rotation plasty on all three dolls!

(Mak-a future doctor?)

Mak has been hauling her doll everywhere! I guess this is her way of coping with Tim's situation. Mak and Tim have also been hanging out a lot, playing "Rock Band" and having sleep-overs in Tim's room. It's so nice to see them together and getting along:)

One more round done, and not too many left to do, right? Love how the dolls got rotationplasty done also!! That totally made me smile.

That is so cute with the dolls. My girls keep playing like their dolls have cancer, too. Cute, but kind of sad. I'm glad Tim is doing so well. His weight sounds great--I think we are going to have to seriously consider the appetite stimulants for Steven, too, or he is going to end up with a feeding tube!

I hope you guys are having a fun summer :) Oh, I tried to text you about the flight points you had...I will try you again :) ...how exciting for Tim...7th grade! I've been meaning to tell you, the BYU blanket and pillow case we put in cole's crib and it fits perfect...he sleeps with them every night and he loves how soft they are :)

I sewed a bunch of those dolls for Primary's last year. I'm glad to see they are being put to good use!
