The 2010-2011 school year has finally come to an end:) The last three days of school were jammed pack full of fun events!
Wednesday was the school's annual Dance Festival. Each grade did a dance from a different decade: 1st grade was the 50's, 4th grade was the pioneers, and 6th grade was the 80's. So cute, and the biggest shock was that Tim got up with the 6th graders and "moved" along too on his crutches!

(K&K doing the "Twist!" Katie is in blue with her mouth wide open and Kelli is in green just to the right of Katie.)

(Mak is somewhere in the sea of light yellow! She danced the "Virgina Reel" and "Cotton Eye Joe.")

(Tim, in orange shirt and plaid shorts, dancing an 80's mix of moves! He got around pretty good on his crutches did a great job considering that he never practiced the moves with the rest of the students!)

The entire school danced to Katy Perry's "Firework" for the last song. Before every song, students read some facts about that time period. Tim got to read the very last part before the school danced. This is what he read: "New fads have already emerged for 2011, like eco-friendly toys made out of safe recycled materials and Ugly Dolls, which help kids accept differences. Squinkies are squishy, collectible animal toys that come in plastic bubbles and are dispensed in vending machines.
Although fads and trends come and go, one craze continues on, generation after generation...DANCING! Hopefully our finale will be a reminder to let your colors burst because we are all Fireworks!"

(The entire school dancing!)
