Today, Tim and Mak went back to school! I couldn't believe how excited they were to go back. Last year was a struggle. This year was a piece of cake in comparison! Tim is in 5th grade. He has the same teacher as last year. This is a good thing because Tim was in a 4th/5th grade combined class last year. The teacher knows what Tim is capable of doing, so hopefully Tim won't get too bored.
Mak is in 3rd grade. Her teacher is new to the school. She is young, cute and full of spunk. Mak needs that. She is really excited for this year because in 3rd grade, the kids learn cursive. Mak already knows some, so she is eager to improve and "officially" write in cursive.
We have had a busy summer-it has flown by. I really enjoyed having the kids home! They matured so much and are fun to be around. The house is quiet with them gone, but I am glad for that. Every mom needs some quiet time!

I can't believe how grown up they are! Yay for the first day of school. I bet Katie and Kelli miss having them around.
