Reno

I said in a previous post that Cory and I were out of town for a couple of days. Here is what happened. My Aunt needed a driving buddy back to Reno, so I went with her. It worked out great because my sister was having her wedding reception the weekend that I would be in Reno. Cory just so happened to be working in Reno that week as well. So, my Mom stayed with the kids, while Cory and I "partied" alone in Reno. We saw a movie, went to the Reno Temple, Cory went motorcycle riding with my brother, we ate out a lot, and we went to the reception. It was beautiful, and my sister is so happy. Jess and Brian were married on June 25th in Maui. I wasn't able to attend the wedding, but I said I would go to the reception. Oh, how I wished I could have gone to Maui, but that is in the past and doesn't do me any good to dwell on it. I tried to download some pictures from the wedding, but I had no luck. Take my word, it was stunning! Here are some pictures from the reception. We had a good time. Cory stole the show on the dance floor. He was doing some dance that Will Smith did on his tv show. Sunday morning, we attended a sacrament meeting. The neatest family spoke about the 13 Article of Faith. We discovered that one of the daughters will be attended BYU next fall on a basketball scholarship. I couldn't sit still through the rest of the talks. I was so excited to introduce myself and talk about basketball! Now I have a reason to go to an alumni game! The trip was fun, but I really missed the kids and was glad to get home and be a mom. I wouldn't have it any other way!
