Like I said in my last post, this past week has been a busy one with getting ready for school and all. We did a little bit of school shopping, we went to Cowabunga Bay one last time, there was the trip to the dentist (no cavities), and a movie. I also went through the kids' rooms, cleaning out stuff collected from the summer and going through clothes. While I was helping Tim out, we decided to change his room around a bit. This is what it looks like now.
Yesterday, I set out to go through Mak's room. Somehow she convinced me to move her into the basement. So, I spent all afternoon and part of the evening moving her into the playroom and the playroom into her room. She was at a friends house til 9pm. When she got home, I had her go get ready for bed. She went upstairs, not knowing that I had switched rooms. I heard her upstairs, then she came bounding down the stairs all happy and giddy. Tim and I covered her eyes and led her into her new room. She was so excited. It took her an hour and a half to finally go to sleep. It didn't help that she had a Dr. Pepper at 8:30. This her room now in the basement.
And these pictures are of the playroom that is now in Mak's old bedroom. It is next to the twins' bedroom. Hopefully they will play with their toys more since it isn't in the basement so far away from the world!
So with all the moving around that's taken place and all the clothes/shoes/backpacks that have been bought, I think we are ready for another school year. We'll see what the weekend has in store for us though!

Oh MAN you are prepared aren't you??? What a cool mom! I've just BARELY started letting the boys have "sleepovers" down in the basement It's getting to be time to separate Brackon and Jaxon though...Maybe when I build up the courage you can give me some pointers on how to go about it.
Good gracious. Where do you get your energy?
