Easter Weekend!

No surprise, we went camping over Easter/Spring Break/General Conference Weekend! Oh boy, what a weekend it was. I really don't know why we keep going every year, but we do! We've had wind, rain, freezing temperatures, and snow! I guess we went this year to test out our new trailer!
Your eyes are not playing tricks on you-that is a 5th wheel, toy hauler. It's a 30 footer with a garage in the back for the bikes, double bunks in the back as well for the kids to sleep on, two slide outs, an awesome bathroom, and a queen bed up front. She did so well for us! The nights were cold, but we stayed warm and dry!
The kids always have fun when we camp! They were able to ride like crazy through the trees and play in the sand with the sand toys we have. When it was cold, or there was an inch and a half of snow on the ground, we stayed inside and kept busy. T&M hooked up the game cube and played games.
K&K climbed up on the top bunk and watched movies. They love "Princess and the Frog" and "New Moon." We know the movies by heart now thanks to the bad weather we had:)
And then there was the motorcycle riding. We rode Friday after setting up camp, all day Saturday after it warmed up a bit, and a little Sunday after the snow melted and we went home. It was so much fun. Trails for miles and miles. We really liked the tight trails that wound their way through the Juniper Trees. I taught Mak how to drive my 4-wheeler. She did so good, and by the time we left, she was driving by herself. Of course, Tim followed her just in case and to ease my mind!
So, you are probably wondering if we learned our lesson and will wait til the weather is better next year. Probably NOT! We love going out, being together, and making memories that will last forever. Even if it means waking up to snow and wearing winter jackets all weekend long:) The view makes up for it all!
