Motorcycle Riding!

Saturday, Cory and I took the kids motorcycle riding at Delle. For those of you who don't know where Delle is, it's about an hour west of us, before you reach the salt flats. We went with our friends, the Douglas. What an adventure! The weather was a little on the cool side, didn't quite get to 50 like the news said it would. And the wind was blowing a bit, which made it feel even cooler. But, the kids had a blast riding on a nearby track. Tim and I found some piles of junk and went into "destruction" mode! We smashed an old tv and toilet with bricks. It was so cool! After awhile, we decided to go on a family ride. Cory led us out onto a flat. Little did we know that half way out, the flat was one big mud pit. What a mess! Mud was everywhere and the kids had a hard time getting out. Luckily, my 4-wheeler didn't have any problems. I was having a blast doing doughnuts and making the mud fly! After we got out of the mud and back to the vehicles, the kids headed over to the track and played on an old school bus and watched the big boys jump their bikes. Don't worry, Cory wasn't out there jumping. Not yet at least. He did go around a couple of times. He knows his limits! That night, we tried to clean off the bikes. Our lawn is covered with piles of gray dirt blobs. Yuck! And the dirt is reacting with the 4-wheeler's tires making them turn an old BYU blue. We got pizza from Little Ceasars and let the kids run wild for awhile. It was a long, exhausting day, but oh the memories we made!

AMANDA! I am so glad you found my blog! I have been wondering what happened to you after high school! You and your children are absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to read more of your blog and find out what has been going on in your life! What are you doing now? Do you work, stay at home??? I am so jealous you have been playing volleyball! I played last spring on a city league, but I don't get to play as often as I would like. I started cycling instead since I can do it inside when it is cold! Thank you so much for writing me! I have so many good memories of my days in Vernal. Thank you for accepting me as a friend and teammate! I will have to post a picture that I have of you, Shayna, Jodi and I from our Oregon Camp! Good times!
