Riding - again!

The view from Five Mile looking east towards the Wasatch Mountains!

It's been awhile since my last blog. Not much has happened in the last two weeks, other than I celebrated my 34th birthday on the 2nd. It wasn't a very exciting day. I did my weekly grocery shopping, went to lunch with Cory, got some new "girl" jeans that fit me (Buckle is the best) and played volleyball. Our team tied for 1st place this past season. And we finally got a T-shirt!! Cory was able to come watch me play, which doesn't happen often because he is either home with the kids or out of town. Thank you to all my family and friends who called me. You made my day and I am so grateful you are apart of my life! Love you all.
So, our family went motorcycle riding this past weekend! This time we went to Five Mile, just east of Lehi. It was a beautiful day! Not too hot, not cold, a little breeze. We started out with a family ride. Cory had Kelli on his bike, Tim was alone on his bike and I had Katie and Mak on my four-wheeler. We didn't run into any mud this time, just a few patches of snow. We rode for about an hour, then went back to the truck. Tim and Mak rode around while the girls played on the trailer and Cory went for a solo ride. I sat on the 4-wheeler eating Oreo cakesters. (These are my new favorite snack!) We borrowed a little motorcycle from the Douglas' - thanks guys - for Mak to practice on. She did so well, crashing only once. Tim is getting more darring everytime he rides. Soon, he will be giving Cory a run for his money!Mak, Kelli, Katie, Tim in a Juniper Tree
