Children's Museum
Yesterday, my Mom and I took the kids to the Children's Museum at the Gateway. It was the last big "thing" before Tim and Mak go back on track Monday. Hooray, I survived 3 1/2 weeks of those two being home. Actually, it wasn't too bad. They kept pretty busy with skiing, swimming, chores and learning to do their own laundry. Hopefully, they will appreciate it more when they come home from school and they have clean, folded clothes on their beds waiting to be put away. Now they will know what I do everyday for them. If not, at least they know how to do laundry! Back to the museum. It was great! We spent about 2 hours there. Totally worth the driving time and the cost. We really liked the main floor with the kid size town. You can play in a construction zone, shop at a grocery store, work on the farm, pretend to cook in a house and fill a car up with gas. Kelli loved the grocery store. She would fill her basket up, check out, then put everything away where she got it from. Katie liked to play in the water and damn up the water. On the second floor, there is a lot of hand's on things. Tim and Mak liked the news room and helicopter. I was a little nervous about going to the museum only because the last time I went to a children's museum, Tim was not quite two and I was hugely pregnant with Mak. Tim got away from me numerous times and I vowed never again. So, when the twins were born, no way was I going to a museum with them. But yesterday wasn't too bad. All the kids are old enough not to take off on me and they all understood to stay in a certain area! A great way to end an off-track time!

Glad you had fun. I'm sure they loved it.
We love the children's museum isn't it the best. I need to go again with my own kids, maybe when Justin goes off track in March! Looks like they all had fun!
