Round 11

Only 3 rounds left! WOW! It took us awhile to get to this round, but we made it and Tim is home and recovering. He went in Tuesday, late morning, and checked out early this morning! He no longer gets one of the chemo drugs that he was getting on previous short visits! It's so nice and makes a huge difference:) Tim did not throw up during this round. Good thing because he ate 4 pieces of pizza for lunch yesterday and he and I shared a ham-n-cheese sandwich for dinner. Tim was in really good spirits the whole time. He spent most of the day yesterday watching a program on the History channel about ancient death machines. He was so into the show that when the nurses came in to talk to him, he just zoned them out! The nurses were a little freaked out by this. Let's just say that we got really good treatment during this stay;) Next round is scheduled for Aug. 30th. We should make that with no problems. Until then, the girls go back to school next Monday and Tim will go to middle school on the 29th!

(Check out the color in Tim's cheeks and the fat on them as well! He gained 3 pounds since his last round!)
