Round 8

Only 6 more to go! Tim did okay with this last round of chemo. He threw up 8 times over the course of 5 days/4 nights. He stayed pretty positive and had some fun the last day. He taped his remote controlled fart machine to his green rc truck and ran it under the nurses' chairs and let it rip! He also took is rc helicopter up and flew it around, annoying some of the nurses. But for the most part, the nurses were pretty cool with all of Tim's jokes:) On the last day, I took Tim out on the hospital patio and we sat outside for awhile. Tim found a couple of balls and threw them over a fence onto a roof section of the hospital. He was ready to be out of that place! He goes in again around June 21st for just a two-dayer. He has two weeks to rest up, let his counts fall, and get them back up again! Tim is going over to the middle school three times a week for some math summer school. Actually, he is taking a class to see if he can get into the 8th grade math honor's program! He is a day behind, but what else does he have to do during the day when all is friends are in school? Check out these pictures of Tim! He took these using an app on the i-pad he got to play on after taking a survey every morning at the hospital. Pretty cool and Tim loved it:)

(My favorite!)
Tim, and the rest of us, will be making an appearance in the Fort Herriman Days Parade this Saturday. The parade starts at 9am. We will be handing out flyers all about the walk on June 25th, as well as candy, bracelets and some car decals! Should be a fun morning for all involved-parades are the best :)
