The 12-person team ran a total of 192 miles in just over 31 hours. Each team member ran 3 legs of varying length. Cory's runs were 3.4 miles, 7.0 miles and 5.9 miles for a total of 16.3 miles! He ran Friday evening, early Saturday morning (2 am) and Saturday afternoon. He had about 2 hours of sleep outside a middle school in Morgan, UT. Sounds like so much fun, huh?
After Tim's second platelet transfusion of the week Saturday morning, I rode up to Park City with a couple other wives to see the team finish. I was afraid I would not make it because Tim had a reaction to the platelets and his throat closed up on him. But after he had some benadryl and tylenol, he was okay and finished up the platelets. Back to Ragnar, the atmosphere was very cool at the finish line! It was fun to hear all the team names and see the crazy outfits:) So, will I run the Ragnar next year you ask? Maybe! I did do a little bit of running this morning during my walk. I plan to add more running every day:) Maybe in a year I will be able to run about 12 miles. Yeah, right!!
