Mother's Day!

Mother's Day started like any other Sunday, except that Cory and Tim were at the hospital and I was at home with the girls. The four of us made it to church on time and enjoyed a great meeting! We left early so we could get home and get ready for Tim to come home! A neighbor planned a huge welcoming party for Tim! Friends and neighbors lined the streets and cheered Tim on as he came home!(Some people on a corner waiting for Tim to come home!)

(Here comes Tim! He was pretty much out of it, but he knew that a lot of people had gathered to welcome him home. He was a little worried about being the center of attention.)

(Tim crutched from the truck to the front steps. Then Cory lifted him into the house. Tim quickly turned around and waved to the crowd before going inside for the night!)

We got Tim settled on the couch and he read some posters signed by the crowd! After taking some pain pills, he slept the rest of the afternoon and into the evening. It was a nice, relaxing Sunday afternoon! And the best part was that I got the best Mother's Day gift-my boy home!
