Surgery

Thursday, Kelli had bi-lateral liguinal hernia surgery. And, she is doing great! She thinks she can run and play like before, but she still needs some rest and down time. Very hard for her!! Isn't she so cute in her hospital gown and socks? She didn't like the socks at all:)
Thursday morning started early for us as we checked in at the hospital at 7:45am. Thank goodness the hospital is just down the road from us. Riverton has a new hospital with a Primary Children's extension. No more driving clear across the valley for us:) I was amazed with the facility. It is very child oriented! In fact, last week, Kelli and I attended a pre-surgery tour of the place. Kelli got to play with "hospital" stuff and see where she will be. It made the day of the surgery much easier! Kelli was taken into surgery about 9am and we were home by 12pm. She spent the rest of the day in my bed watching tv and trying to take a nap. She finally fell asleep when I laid down and took a nap as well. This picture is terrible, but just know she looked so cute sleeping-finally!
