Fall in Utah

This past weekend, the family took a drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon! At the very top, we stopped at Silver Lake and went for a little walk. This is what welcomed us from the parking lot!

And here is the family standing on a little dock. Aren't we just the sight to behold. This is what Conference Sunday does to us:)
We walked all the way around the lake and up into the yellow trees. This is the view looking out from the trees to the lake! Beautiful!!
After our little walk, we drove up over Guardsman's Pass and into Heber City, then home via Provo Canyon. The fall colors in Heber City were, well, colorless. We missed the show by about a week. Oh well. At least we saw some color. It has just been too hot here to have a really good show this year. I am looking forward to some cooler weather and rain this week. Happy Fall!!

So pretty! I love fall colors. We're heading off to take some family pictures today because of all the pretty colors.

Mercedes O'Neal plays volleyball? Wow, I can just picture the 12 year old version of her and she was already really tall. Fun that you got to see her!
