Yesterday, Chad Lewis, Tim, and two of Tim's friends hung out at BYU! Long story, but Chad wanted to hang out with Tim and catch up. Last time we saw Chad was May of 2001, right after Tim's surgery. Ever since Thursday's Hero of February 2011, Chad has taken a liking to Tim and has kept in touch throughout the past year and a half! For those of you who don't know who Chad is-all you Ute fans out there-Chad was a superstar football player who walked on to the BYU football team, earning a full-ride scholarship. He then went on to play 9 years in the NFL as a free agent, mainly for the Eagles. Now he is back at BYU as the assistant athletic director! Awesome guy! We mainly hung out on the outdoor practice field, talking to current players and throwing the football around. Chad gaveTim some football pointers as well. Great afternoon!!
