A "Wright" Weekend!

Our weekend started out with a huge bang-literally. Thursday night, while I was at a Volleyball meeting, Cory took Kelli and Katie for a bike ride. Ever since the girls mastered their bikes without training wheels, we can not get them off the bikes. Any way, Katie swerved to miss a parked car, and ended up meeting the road with her mouth. She got road rash on her cheek, nose and upper lip, cut the inside of her lip, knocked out a tooth and ended up with a fat lip. I took her to the dentist at 9pm for an emergency x-ray and exam. Thank goodness the tooth she knocked out was a baby tooth! She going to be okay, just a little cut up and bruised for awhile. This is Katie a day after the "accident." Notice the huge hole in her mouth now:)This picture doesn't do the trauma justice. Where the new tooth is coming in, Katie had a huge cut there from where the baby tooth got knocked out. The cut inside her mouth was worse as well.

So, due to Katie's injuries, we decided to take it somewhat easy Friday and see how Katie was feeling. We ended up going to "Boondock's" for a late lunch and an afternoon full of fun. The kids played arcade games where they collected tickets for prizes. We played a game of Laser Tag, drove the go-carts and got wet on the bumper boats! It was a great afternoon, and Katie did well and kept up with her brother and sisters!Mak driving!
Kelli did well for her first time:)
Katie and Tim. They each drove the little g0-carts as well. I just love this picture of Tim. His face is full of determination to "win" the race!

Kelli and I were quite the team!

Cory's Dad and his wife came down from Montana Friday night for a weekend visit. The kids love it when Papa comes to town. They played games with him, showed him around the house and backyard and hung on to him. Especially Kelli. She just loves her Papa. We also got some yard work done yesterday with an extra man around. We are putting a garden in, and in order to do that, we cut up some sod. Cory's Dad helped take the sod out of the garden area. He also helped Cory place the sod in a bare area of the backyard. We also worked a little bit on the sprinkler system:(
Toby, Cory's Dad-Rick, Kelli, Mak, Tim, Cory, Katie and me this morning before church!

Just so you know, this coming week is volleyball try-outs for Riverton High School. I will be busy the entire week, so I will not be blogging unless another "emergency" or something funny happens with the kids as they spend their last week of summer break with their Baci. See you all soon! Go Silverwolves:)
