Earlier in the week, my Mom and I took the kids to Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. Every Tuesday in August, some of the events are only $2! So, off we went, along with everyone else in Utah County and southern SL County! Our first stop was lunch at Del Taco. Yum, Mexican food! Then we went to the Dinosaur Museum. It is actually pretty cool, if there wasn't kids every where, strollers running into you and adults butting in front of you. Too bad we didn't have Mexican food for breakfast so we could have cleared people out:) We did the museum thing for awhile until we had enough of people.

Hoping the T-Rex doesn't eat us!

Mak, Katie, Tim and Kelli building dams. They also dug for Dinosaur Bones, but the pictures didn't turn out:(
After the museum, we walked over to the deli/bakery in hopes of getting a 50 cent ice-cream cone. Um, no way. The line was to the door. So, we settled for a cookie and a drink. It felt so good to sit for awhile and watch all the people in line for an ice-cream cone. Ha, ha ,ha!
Then, we walked around the grounds for awhile. There are the most beautiful gardens there. The kids thought it was the coolest.

Here they are stinging themselves! Kelli couldn't quite figure it out. Too cute!!
Next, we went to a glass blowing exhibt. The artist was there actually blowing glass. I think the end product was a vase of some sort! Very cool. His gallery was right there, so we walked around with our hands in our pockets! We came around a corner to this:

A 6 foot Christmas tree decorated with ornaments, lights and presents underneath. It was so cool! I was truely amazed with everthing. We also got to walk through a stained glass studio and see the artist at work. So much detail. A lot of their work is in local LDS Temples!
Our last stop for the day was Farm Country. We walked around, outside in the heat, looking at all the farm animals. Then, the kids spotted the pony rides. So, being the good Mom/Grandma, we bought tickets and waited in line forever in the heat! I really hope the kids enjoyed their 3 minute ride!

Go Tim. He almost met the weight limit:)

Mak wants to take riding lessons (yea, right) so she was in Heaven!

Kelli, was so happy that I was there watching her. She is very attached to me lately!

Katie was so glad to be out of the sun and heat:)
