Happy New Year!

It's been awhile since my last post! So much has happened too! I will say very little and let a slide show do the talking of our Christmas/New Year break! The following did take place:
* Tim and Mak had a piano recital and performed well. They each played 2 songs and they each played one entirely from memory! Well done:)
* Christmas Eve consisted of our Christmas dinner with my Mom and Grandma, the kids opened some small gifts, we read from Luke 2 and watched some short Christmas movies.
* Christmas day the kids took only half an hour to open presents from Santa. The rest of the day was spent wrestling boxes to get the actual toy out, filling the garbage can up with wrapping paper, snacking on left-overs, and chilling in the hot tub.
* Pogonip, or ice fog, gave up a sight to behold one very cold morning! Hated to see the sun come out and melt the amazing scenery away.
* We saw the movies "Avatar" and "The Princess and the Frog." Both are must sees. Cory and I also saw "Sherlock Holmes."
* New Year's Eve was spent in the Heber Valley. We went tubing at Soldier Hollow, - gotta love the tow rope to the top of the hill - spent the night in a two bedroom chalet at "Inn on the Creek," walked through an Ice Castle, and rang in 2010 with New York City via the tv!
* Cory turned 37 on New Year's Day. We had cake & ice-cream and opened gifts. I took him out to dinner and to see the movie "NINE." The music is great!

Best of luck to all of you this year! We love you all and appreciate your friendships and support. The kids go back to school tomorrow, the Christmas decorations are put away, church now starts at 9am, my house needs to be cleaned-big time, we are all healthy, volleyball starts again . . . .
Bring it on 2010!!

Looks like you've been partying hardy! We went tubing in AF and had to haul our own tubes back up the hill, and my baby as well... Maybe next time we'll try soldier hollow :)
