Summer Fun!

We have stayed pretty busy this summer, yet it seems like we have done nothing! After Montana, the kids, my Mom and I went boating! You heard right, no Cory, I did everything by myself. Tim and his friend helped out a lot though. We went to Deer Creek Res, our favorite place to go boating! Here are few pictures of the day!

The kids have been taking swim lessons the past couple of weeks. They are doing super and improving so much. One day after swimming, we went to see the floats for the Days of '47 Parade. The event was inside out of the heat and free:) It was cool to see the floats up close. So much work goes into them and the details are amazing! These were some of our favorites.Mormon crickets and Seagulls!I have been quite busy with volleyball this summer. If you haven't heard, I will be coaching the Sophomore team at Riverton High School. So, I have been helping out with camp, open gym and a few clinics here and there. Try-out are in a couple of weeks, then the season starts. I am super excited to help out and a little scared as well!

Montana Slideshow!

Here it is! Finally, some pictures of our fabulous Montana trip! We had so much fun, despite the rough first day we had- part of the dock was destroyed, the boat hydro-locking, spark plugs in the water, no gas in Grandpa's boat, the generator being stolen, the toilet being backed up. We survived some rain, cold nights, hot days, and "using trees" for a couple of days! Memories were made though. The coolest was having Cory's youngest brother, Cameron, and his family join us! Cameron is currently serving in the military and was able to join us during a 2 week leave. Pray for him, and everyone else that serves this great country of ours! Enjoy the slide show:)

Flathead Lake!

We've been out of town for awhile up to Flathead Lake for the annual Wright Family Get-Together. I can't really call it a reunion since we all get together every year. Anyway, I have lots of pictures to go through and share, so when I finally get caught up with laundry, mail, and what not, I will put together a little slide show! Here's a little taste of what is to come:)Cory and his brother Cameron riding the tubes backwards! Love the same hair line all the Wright boys have:)

WOW!

A couple of weeks ago, I received a box from the BYU Women's Basketball Program. I was thinking, "Boy, they sure are going big for alumni stuff!" But then I thought, "Wait a minute. Basketball is over and the alumni game is next winter. What is this?" When I opened the box, I found this smaller box inside.
I was a "Curious George" and opened it up right away! This is what I found inside along with a letter of explanation. The floor of the Marriott Center is being re-done, so they sent every player, male and female, who has ever played on the old floor, a piece of it! I need to tell you that I was never contacted and asked if I wanted a piece of the floor or how much I wanted to donate to receive this piece of my personal history.
For those of you that don't know about my experience at BYU, it wasn't like I thought it was going to be. I ate, slept, dreamed and did many other things thinking about basketball. I had to schedule classes around weight lifting in the early mornings and practice in the afternoons. I had to keep a certain GPA or I was stuck in study hall with the football players:) And then, I was part of the "guest" team that our starting team beat up just before games. I saw a lot of the end of the bench too! However, I GOT TO GO TO BYU! I met some amazing people that I will never forget. I met and married my husband will attending BYU! I graduated not only with a degree in Recreation Management, but received a minor in Business as well! Plus, I got to travel to some interesting places in our country. So, I was shocked, honored and blown away to be remembered! All I can say is WOW!

The End!

The end has come for another school year for Tim and Makayla! Today, for me, was the official last day of school. I attended two awards ceremonies with two, whiney girls in tow:) Oh, how joyous! This is Mak with her 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Moody! What an awesome teacher, and so cute:) Mak did everything to please her teacher. She earned the High Flying Hawk award this year, the highest a student can earn!Tim also received the High Flying Hawk award, as well as the Presidental Fitness Award and the National Geographic Spelling Bee Participation Award! Can you believe that he is going to be a 6th grader next year?! And all the kids will go to school together, at least for one year! Yee Haw!
