2nd Leg

Tim recently received his 2nd leg from Shriner's.  This has been in the works for about a month and a half now.  His "BYU" leg became too small and it really limited Tim from becoming more active.  The new leg is sweet!  No velcro straps  for his pants to get caught on.  His rotated foot is at a different angle to take pressure off his toes.  And it's camo!  The foot from the 1st leg was used again though:)

Pretty proud of his new leg!

Tim had no problem walking on this leg.  In fact, when he wants to, he walks without a limp:)  The day after Tim got the new leg, he played in a game of church basketball.  Mind you, this was the first time he played since Jan. 2011!  It was tough and he ended up with a blister on his rotated heel:(  But he had a lot of fun and put up two shots, one right under the basket!  Both Cory and I were very nervous for him to play, but you have to let your kids go sometime.  Tell you what though, I was more than ready to take down any young man who hurt my Tim!  I didn't care if it was church ball:)
