The other night, Cory was at a meeting and met a doctor who was at the InstaCare on January 11, 2011. That was the day I took Tim in for a x-ray thinking he had a stress fracture in his left leg. This doctor informed Cory that he remembered that day and the doctor that actually looked at Tim saying that he was not going to do an x-ray. Here is where I am so grateful for a "mother's intuition" that told me something was not right with my son and that a visit to Tim's pediatrician was not going to be enough. So, I insisted that an x-ray be taken, and, well you know what happened from there. This doctor also told Cory that the InstaCare did a lot of x-rays after hearing about Tim's cancer:)

The other night at dinner, I sat at the table listening and watching the kids as they finished up their dinner. They are all growing up so fast and for the first time I realized that Tim has matured so much in the past few months. Not just emotionally, but physically as well. I was numb with the thought that soon I will have a teenager in the house, and a handsome one too! Tim has been blessed in so many ways and I am so grateful to be apart of Tim's life!

We are all grateful for a Mother's instinct, and grateful for Tim being in our lives. He has made better people of us all. L, Chi
That is such a cool story--so glad you insisted on the Xray. His wish thing is so cool--and he really does look great. I feel the same way about Steven lately--he seems to have grown up all of a sudden.
