It was an exciting day for Tim today! To start the day off, he was named "Student of the Month" for October! There was a special assembly at the beginning of school where 5 other students received this honor! Cory and I have known about this for 2 weeks because we were asked to write a letter about Tim to be read at the assembly. Cory went to the assembly and said that Tim was shocked that he was nominated and won. He received a standing ovation from the 7th grade kids!!

After the assembly, the principal asked the 8 SBO candidates to stay so he could tell them which 4 won.
Tim is now a 7th grade Student Body Officer! Tim is very excited! Can't wait to see what he looks like in a black/purple/turquoise sweater the SBOs get to wear:)
