We are still airing out the house from all the smoke as we are about 1/2 mile from one of the houses that was burnt. Last night was a long night trying to get the kids to bed and then watching the fire creep down the hills we see from our backyard. Cory and I stayed up watching houses catch on fire, getting a few things together in case we were evacuated and waiting. We were just about 2 blocks away from being evacuated! Can you believe that little ol' Herriman made national news?!
Now onto some good news. Saturday, I was able to attend the sealing of a cousin and her husband to their daughter. My mom and I attended the ceremony. It was so beautiful and made me realize just what is really important in life: my FAMILY!!
Later Saturday, Tim played in another football game. They played Hillcrest and won 6-0! Cory's defense rocks, even though he won't admit it! I love this picture of Tim coming onto the field just after halftime. This is what sports is all about-having fun!
